all the things that i used to know...
have gone out the window...

When I woke up this morning, I noticed that my elbow had accumulated a nipple. I guess sometime yesterday, a mosquito thought it would be funny to bite my elbow and I must have itched it while I slept. And yeah. I'm not having good luck with mosquito bites lately.

Today wasn't too exciting. I decided to go to a TJ Maxx and Marshall's on the other side of town. But I thought they opened at 10 on Sundays, not 11. So I had to kill some time...in K-Mart. Which of course, gave me the opportunity to "shop" for products made by the company I am employeed by. It's my new passion: to see what I can find [in stores] that we produce. It's totally geeky, but I find it to be fun. While shopping, I discovered two things: 1. there is a Barbie that you can "pierce." She has three pre-determined earring holes and comes with like 608 earring to fill her holes with. Some little two year old is going to eat the earrings. I can feel it. 2. K-Mart is like one step up from Wal-Mart. I truely see that now. I take K-Mart over Wal-Mart ANYWAY...but man, it's really like a no-duh wonder when it comes to why Target is so successful.

Let's just say...I got in a little trouble (again) on my shopping adventures today. All work clothes, so I guess I can say, "ok."

My family came back from vacation today. They went to the Outer Banks (where else would they go?) for a week. I'm just glad I don't have to deal with unpacking right now. I love traveling... hate the whole unpacking part. As a matter of fact, most of my travel toiletries are still in the bag I used to go to New York in May.

I think I may be turning into a gay male. Why?

First, I downloaded a few Elton John songs. I'm blaming Blender for their Elton John catalog feature. I realized, you know, I think I like a few Elton John songs. All slow, all sort of sad, but still optimistic in a weird way.

Second, I decided on Saturday that when I move out, I want my place to look like a gay man's place. Or somewhat like the cover of Brad's Interior album. Well, that is the same thing as a gay man's place, isn't it? :-)

I'm so tired. I don't think I can watch both episodes of Roseanne tonight.
