I have totally had it up to HERE with my problematic internet connection.
Anyway. Work is going well. I'm definitely getting sucked into it. And I'm not saying that's bad. What I mean is, I think I'm finding my place and getting a
good grasp of what I am doing...and what needs to be done. I'm in the process of putting together a holiday order for Germany. It technically should have been
done already, but this is only my third week on the job: whatchya gonna do?
I went shopping last night and bought more stuff. I am so bad.
Now I'm just looking forward to...my first paycheck. I am in some desperate need of cash...so I am very amped about getting my first check. I don't dig the getting
paid every two weeks...but most places pay every two weeks. It's rare to work somewhere that pays every week. I was telling Doerr, there's a downside and an upside: the downside
is you get paid every two weeks, the upside is that the check is larger than it would be if you got paid every week.
I haven't watched a single I Love the 90s. I am recording them to watch them, in order, when I'm bored. I probably could've downloaded them, but that takes too
much time. As interested as I am in watching them, I don't want to dedicate myself to watching two hours of tv every night this week. It's bad enough I'm addicted to re-watching
Six Feet Under with my mom...starting from the beginning. She's so hooked on that show now, it's too funny.
Speaking of which...Lauren Ambrose (Claire) had some bang action going on in the most recent epsiode: her hair looked really good.
And I saw a preview tonight that Ron Livingston is going to be in some Brittany Murphy movie. Such a shame that I will have to watch it because he is so dreamy.
That's about it folks. My mom and I are going to try to have a garage sale this weekend. I checked the weather forecast and it is supposed to rain. If not this week, probably the next.
I just want some money for my crap!
I think my network card has decided to be an asshole and work when it wants to work. It was really random before...would happen MAYBE once a week,
in the morning only (this has been on-going for about a month and a half). Now it's like...everyday, at some certain time, I just don't have access to the
internet. And the thing is...the other computers in the house on the network work fine. And my little brother is away seeing Incubus in Chicago (well, ahem,
lovely Rosemont, I pity him for having to see his favorite band at the Allstate Arena)...so I have to wait to figure out this crap on Friday when he gets back.
