I had absolutely NOTHING to do with it...though I wish I had!
I finally made it to the Hard Rock Cafe. We walk in and guess what I see? A PEARL JAM pillar! Oh, but this was no ordinary Pearl Jam
dedication! No sir! On the wall sits one of Stone's Les Pauls...signed. I swear, I just wanted to lick it! There is also some Alive single
thingy do framed...and three more pictures of the band...one signed. All circa 1992. Kinda lame...I could do much better in the memorabilia
department...'cept I do not own any of Stone's guitars. How fitting...Stonewall dedication in my hometown. I need to go back and geek out with a
camera.
We were down in Detroit looking at a condo my sister and Aaron are interested in purchasing. This condo is north of Wayne...at the New Center Area
(where the GM Building---former GM HQ---and Fisher building are located). The neighborhood is absolutely fantastic. The condo is only 600 square feet
and it has a really teeny bedroom...but it is a really great condo. Building was built in 1920...situated in a historic neighborhood...has some spunk.
Like it a lot.
Yesterday, I shopped a lot with my mom. I ended up getting one of my Christmas presents while shopping...a new down comforter. The one I have now was
Gen and Aaron's and it sucks monkeybutt. It is the worst down comforter ever. Ralph Lauren...your down comforter sucks. My old down comforter was totally
the shiznit. This one...I have to throw a fleece blanket over. I've never had to do that before. It gets fucking cold in my room at night---64 degrees...so a
warm comforter is very important. We went to Bed Bath and Beyond first...because when I was researching down comforters at school, I was really impressed
with their selection. A lot of difference a couple of months makes---they didn't have shit. We ended up at Kohl's...which wasn't so bad because they were
50 to 60% off. Kohl's is awesome.
So far, only three of my classes have grades posted. A, A, and A-. Not too shabby. It'll be my Consumer Behavior class that throws that off. I keep checking
my grades everytime I get to my computer because I am really freaked out about CB.
I finally saw Pirates of the Carribean a day or two ago. I was very impressed. I liked it. Johnny Depp is so great. The eyeliner really works for him. LOL.
My room needs to be cleaned in the worst way.
