Last night, I had a dream that I was going to buy Dave Matthews Band: The Central Park Concert...but it was $24.99! So I skipped it. I was woken by my
mom this morning seeing if I needed cd-rs because she and my dad were going to go running around. I got out of bed and looked at the ads (and went back to
bed, of course) and saw that MediaPlay had it for $13.99...handed them the money. I didn't get it when it was released because I didn't want to spend the money
and then that Saturday I thought, "This is stupid, I have to order the DVD and CD before midnight." But I forgot. Anyway...I think it's worth the money for
the performance of Granny alone. I would have most certainly been happy witnessing that shit, yeah.
So I guess it was a Dave Matthews kind of day. I watched the Dave Matthews Driven on VH1. It was good...besides the comment that was made that DMB makes more
powerful music than Nirvana and Pearl Jam. I am not saying that Dave Matthews Band is not powerful...nor am I saying that Pearl Jam is more powerful than
DMB...but come on! That comment is totally lame! Pearl Jam and DMB have gotten to where they are today BECAUSE they make powerful music. It is hard to say really
good bands make more powerful music than other good bands.
I officially burned dvds today. It is not that fun. I hate waiting for stuff to burn. I am impatient. My cd burner is "only" 24x (hehe I lucked out, it was supposed to be
a 16x but it turned out to be a 24x) and I want to kick it sometimes because five minutes to burn a cd is just way too damn long...this coming from the girl that used to
have to dub analogs in real time. Ah, those were the days. Hahah...speaking of which...I have a duel tape deck sitting in my closet. Anyone interesting in buying it? :-)
I'm only 1/2 joking. I also have a stand-alone cd burner sitting in my closet, too. One of the first...it burns any cd I can't get to burn on my comp. That's the only advantage
to owning it...but since it's in my closet...if I can't copy a cd I want to copy...I'm just like...oh well...cause I don't want to dig that out.
Can't believe Christmas is practically here...
