[Entry 2]
<<||>>

you'll see it's not a reprise...

Today is my last exam day. One exam. Then it's par-tay time (ok, not really).

Yesterday I had an exam early in the morning and one later in the evening. As a result, I stayed down by my sister and Aaron's all day. After my first exam, I walked with Krystn over to one of the administrative buildings so I could get one of my loans deferred and also to (drumroll, please) apply for graduation! Felt so weird filling that piece of paper out. Even though the whole "graduation application" is pretty ridiculous...it requires your name, major, and address. It's just an excuse for the university to get $40 out of future graduates. Left that place feeling kind of accomplished, though. Just wish me good luck in my German 2010 class. You German geniuses are going to help me out if I need help, right?

Hung out and studied for the majority of the day. Went to lunch with Gen and Aaron at the International something or another near College for Creative Studies. Food was more their cup of tea, but I got a personal pizza and it wasn't half bad. I also got to nap yesterday which was really nice...though I could have slept for a million hours because I was so tired.

History of COstume final was alright. Certain aspects I had down, others, did not. My Consumer Behavior final...I can't say I totally rocked it, but I think I did alright. The multiple choice section seemed easier than the mid-term...and I don't know if it was because I studied harder (which I do not really think I did...even though I did study) or because I was prepared for his style of questions. There was like 25 bonus points on the test and I think I did pretty good on the bonus section...so if I bombed some other portion on the test...then perhaps the bonus part will save me. Test took me an hour and a half to do. Only other class that has taken me that long for mid-terms or finals was stupid accounting. Glad it's all over now.

Nice! I just checked my grades...see if any of my final grades had been posted (because last night they hadn't)...and I got a solid "A" in Clothing and Culture. I can't wait for the rest of my grades to be posted...I've never anticipated grades at such a level before. I think I've officially geeked out. I think I am geeked out on grades because some entry level jobs in the merchandising field require a certain GPA...and since I was a transfer student, past grades from other institutions do not count towards my final GPA...so however I do in the four semesters I have been at Wayne determines my "overall" GPA.

So I have to start thinking about my senior seminar project. I sort of had an idea of exploring how twenty-something men are investing more time into looking presentable (buying nice clothes) but I think it's too close to looking into the metrosexual phenomenon...which is already played out and will most certainly be played out by the time my project is due in April. So I really gotta brainstorm and think about what to research. One person's project last semester looked at comparing Diesel jeans with Levi jeans. We have to have sources (articles, books) and we also have to conduct a survey. At least that is what I know of the project without actually taken the class. Maybe I'll look into American consumers' opinions/attitudes on overseas apparel production...hmm...

Ok I need to get crackin' on the studying!
