The wedding was catered by Pronto. The desserts, of course, were out of this world because Pronto makes amazing desserts. The music was good. The weather was perfect. Everything
just looked great. I'm so happy for them...that their wedding went off without a hitch.
Oops. It didn't exactly; they hired valet service...and when some people were leaving towards the end of the night, it was discovered that two cars were broken into...someone tried to steal them.
No idea if the valet service was involved in any manner (ie not locking the car doors). It was one person from her side of the family, and one person from his side of the family (my dad's aunt).
The wedding was a good time, too. I kind of always had the impression that my dad's family was poopy. But yesterday I discovered it's only my dad's parents that were poopy. My dad's dad's siblings are a
riot!!! You should've seen everyone dancing to those disco-esque songs they always play at weddings ("typical" wedding songs were only played for about an hour...the remainder of the time, songs
were played off of the groom's iPod).
Oh yeah. And my sister and Aaron got a puppy. His name is Bruce. He is cute. Some kind of terrier.
I wish I had Monday off. I have another wedding next weekend...and while weddings can be fun, they suck up the entire weekend! Next weekend's wedding is more traditional; Catholic ceremony and the whole deal.
Alrighty...I need to go sweep and then shower. Can't wait for Six Feet Under tonight!!!
The wedding yesterday was so awesome! I would love to post more pictures in here, but I don't want to bore anyone.
It was a non-traditional wedding, but as a result, it was the perfect wedding. This was my dad's cousin's wedding...he owns a house in Boston Edison and they
are in the process of restoring it. They had the wedding at the house...which was convenient because they have a double lot (sort of rare in the neighborhood).
Geoff and Melissa worked their asses off. My dad was literally over at their house helping them build that fence three weeks ago.
The inside of the house looked amazing as well; I'd been outside recently, but the last time I was inside the house was Christmas time. They made a ton of progress.
They got married on a platform they built that was incorporated with their pond. It has a waterfall built below it. It's the neatest man-made pond I've ever seen.
