Tuesday, August 9th, 2005[Entry 368]no lyric...my ipod is broken!!!!!!!
Since my iPod is broken, I have to resort to radio or whatever is in my disc changer in my car (right now: Coldplay A Rush of Blood to the Head, Radiohead OK Computer and The Bends, Pearl Jam Yield *duh* and Vs.). When I left work, I flipped through the stations and Why Go was on...so the cardinal rule of "Must keep station on when Pearl Jam is on" was in effect. Right after Why Go ended... live Daughter started (from Live on Two Legs/DC 98). Normally, when Daughter comes on my iPod, I skip to the next track: I've heard it enough...don't need to hear it again (same goes with Jeremy and Better Man). Anyway, it's nice and refreshing, though, because I was really amped to hear Daughter...especially the version that was on because if you don't know my Pearl Jam concert history off the top of your head, I was at the DC show in 98. When I hear that version on the radio (hardly, rarely ever anymore), I feel kind of proud because my ass was there.
Anyway, I won't drag my thoughts on about this...but I will say that right after the song ended, I was really happy that Vs. was in my changer because I automatically put it on---and didn't skip Daughter this time around.
Went to Jazzercise again tonight...to make sure I get my two classes this week in. I have an ortho appointment on Thursday...so I probably won't have time to make a class. If there was more time in a given day, I would go four times a week. I know I can't shut up about Jazzercise. I have to work on it. Sorry folks.
I'm starting to really panic about my co-worker leaving me for two and a half weeks. We don't forsee anything happening...but that's always when stuff does happen. I'm just afraid I may have to make some people mad by having no other choice but to say, "Look, I'm human, I can only do so much." Yep. Really scared.
I'm addicted to Celebrity Baby Blog (don't ask me why, it's so intrusive in a way)...and someone posted a pic of Dave Matthews and his twin girls...and mentioned the fact they are four. I can't believe that! Four years old---already? <---As a result of this, I picked up my iPod (thinking, "Hmmm, I wish I could listen to some Dave right now...) and the damn thing is working. I hope it breaks again...since I have a return label on it's way. Bastard tricky little thing!!!
And by the way, I am so dumb, because why don't I open iTunes and just play some damn music?
