[Entry 239]

and there's nothing worse than a gremmie outta control...

I am so bad!
I have been so good about not spending/wasting money...
and I just bought myself a new iPod skin.

And now I am going to justify the purchase [to myself].

- My current skin I purchased because it was THE ONLY iPod skin for the 20G 4th gen available at the time. I danced a dance of joy when I even found a single skin on eBay to work with my iPod.

- My current skin has a thin layer of silicone over the click wheel; it works fine, but it is not super sensative and when I am scrolling, it is hard to pin point a particular choice. It is especially hard to play the Music Quiz and kickass at it.

- My current skin came with a protective sticker for the screen; however, it has begun to peel up and the look of it is annoying me.

End of justification.

My new skin is "vamp"...dark purple. It still glows in the dark (still way cheesy). It is made of silicone, too. Just like my old one. But it has some cooler features and the click wheel is open. I hope it arrives soon. My iPod is screaming for a change.

BTW: in more iPod news, I got my RA number for my defective FM transmitter. It is totally going to suck to drive around without my iPod. I will still carry it with me, because, well, just because. Now I have to drag out cds or something. Good thing Christmas is next week and I plan on taking some days off next week therefore I have no reason to leave the house! I can't wait to be a bum!

Yeah, so I think I'm taking next Wednesday and Thursday off and then the Monday after Christmas off. I am going to see if I can take the 30th off, too. I have to get my "real" crown that afternoon... so I at least have to take a 1/2 day.

Busy busy weekend. Which is good. Work Christmas party Friday afternoon and then a bunch of us are going out for drinks afterwards. Saturday I'm going to the FOBC meeting and then getting a tour of a wonderful area of Detroit. Then Sunday I go along with my fam for the annual Boston Edison Home Tour. Two days down in Detroit; I love it! That was like the two weekends ago where I went down to Greektown on Friday and then back to Detroit for Noel Night that Saturday. Heart spending time down there...heart it! Just makes me feel good! If I were a Sim...it would be a boost to my "fun" meter. Yep, I'm a dork.

Ok I am tired. I had a restless sleep for some reason last night; kept randomly waking up. So annoying.
