Thursday, August 26th, 2004[Entry 175]there's a fear they'll soon be parting ways...
I think I'm losing faith in Miss Sixty. First, they started slipping in [sort of] inexpensive items...and when you looked at the tags...it was made in some Asian country. You can justify a higher price if it's made in Italy. China? No, I'm sorry. Second, as they started making some of their clothes in other countries, I have noticed their jeans to fit like shit. They have become increasingly inconsistant in sizing. Third? Well, for the fall 2005 season, they decided that they needed their jeans to scream, "HI, I'M A PAIR OF MISS SIXTY JEANS!" by slapping a label on the back. As if you couldn't tell a pair of Miss Sixty jeans without a stupid brown label. It's a hideous label, too. Also...they are making inconsistant pockets. For example, I own a pair of Extra Low Ty. The pockets on those are just like your normal Extra Low Tommys or Tommys or Mid Low Tommys or Low Tommys (you get my drift). Well, the cord versions of Extra Low Ty for fall have very small back pockets. They look ridiculously retarded. I hate to say it...but I think Miss Sixty jeans (not shirts) and I are Parting Ways...
I tried on some Blue Cult jeans today. Seriously overrated jeans.
Some of my tickets for the PJ shows arrived at my house today (Grand Rapids and Toledo). It's been so long since I've held a ticket that says "PEARL JAM"...such a nice, good feeling! I'm like way excited about the shows...but I'm even more excited about hitting the road! Cause I loooooove driving through Ohio and Pennsylvania...
My brother drove himself to work today. Talk about rockstar.
Today I spent my day assembling a 52 page catalog of promotions for a particular chain of stores. It was really for our reference only. But I was instructed to print up some copies of the promotions...and I popped the cd into my computer to see that there was no assembly of the promotions...just hundreds of JPEGS. I guess I am a person of many talents, I mean, shit, I made my first catalog today.
I went to Express. I bought two pairs of Corduroy Editor Pants. I have decided that I love them, but I am taking them back. I am going to be cheap when it comes to work clothes. If I have to own a million pairs of black pants and wear them everyday to work: so be it.
Ok I had other things to talk about, but they slipped my mind. Maybe when something pops into my head, I should write it down. I mean, that would be the smart thing. I used to do that all the time...when I was smart.
