Wednesday, August 25th, 2004[Entry 174]take a bow for the new revolution...
Word of the day:
ticketmalazamrna: the act of squaring away ticket debts, either by means of trade or exchange of monetary units, can sometimes result in drama or confusion. And please pay attention to the fact that the last four letters are m-r-n-a...not m-m-a. Use this word wisely.I am burping up Buddy's Pizza. It's kind of gross, but good at the same time. And that, in itself, is gross.
Friday is our company picnic at work. It's on our grounds...but I ain't bitching! It's supposed to be outside...and there's gonna be games and prizes and they're bringing in catering. It's from 12 until 3. And we are all amped...because even though today was Wednesday...we were MORE than halfway through with the week because you certainly can't count Friday afternoon as "work" if you're not working...
Ate lunch outside again today. It was much more humid outside today (yes! real August weather!) but still enjoyable.
My brother is hilarious. My brother officially got his license yesterday. In that time, he has learned how to drive a stick. He is now suddenly into owning a 1980 yellow Chevy Citation. I always used to think it was a totally Genny car...but seeing my brother in it...yeah, it's a Ryan car, too. Anyway, now that he has his license, he thinks it's ok to just, get in the car and go and not tell anyone he's doing so. I called him when I was out to dinner and asked him where he was. He said he was at Whitter (a local elementry school). I thought that was weird...but thought maybe he was hanging out with some friends or skateboarding or something. I called him again 10 minutes later. He was at Whitter. In the car. Never even told my mom he was taking the car out for a spin. Apparently he was just having fun driving around the neighborhood in circles. Pretty entertaining for the kid that "didn't" want to drive. He's too funny.
