Ever have to wait in a ridiculous line? Well, duh, I think most of my readers are unfortunately fans of Pearl Jam and have spent hours waiting in a line in extreme
heat or extreme cold. Anyway, today I had to wait in a ridiculous line, only numbers were handed out. I lucked out, though. I was turning off my cellphone and some
older man walked up to me and said, "I'm leaving, you can have my number." Within mere seconds of walking into the place, I went from number 63 to 27. That guy...
man, I woulda slipped his ass a five. He saved me at least two hours.
Snow fell ALL day today. Non-stop. It was CRAZY. At lunchtime, I went with my mom to pick up pizza and the roads were crazy. When I got back, I called my one teacher to
see if we were going to have class today. I must have a convincing voice, because she canceled class right then and there when I spoke to her...even though others had called
her throughout the day. Was no big deal, however, because Wayne ended up canceling all classes anyway.
I call that a "score." First day of classes canceled for classes that only meet once a week. First days are kind of pointless anyway...you just go over the syllabus and bullshit
anyway.
And a decent tv night...last episode of The Simple Life and The Bachelorette starring Meredith. I really heart Meredith. She is just so pretty and sophisticated.
Nick at Nite keeps having these commercials of a mock "Mr. Roper vs Mr. Furley." While I don't really hate the Furley character...I think the Ropers were much more entertaining
than overly-exaggerated Furley. Mr. Roper...what a character.
