[Entry 21]

you'll be the one screaming out...

First day back to school. I am declaring it "suck day" only because I had to walk 6 million miles. My one teacher said that registration is the highest it's ever been...hence the parking problem. I think Wayne needs to up its criteria or work on that whole expansion deal if they keep accepting new students. Shit, growth is good...but come on! I had to park so far away and so did everyone else I know.

My German class was not too bad. My teacher is a cute little Indian woman. My third Indian teacher in my lifetime (I had a Physics teacher who was Indian at UDM and my Basic Construction teacher was also a cute little Indian woman). Anyway, she smiles a lot...so it's some reassurance. She spoke almost entirely in German the whole time and I didn't freak out. I was supposed to have taken a placement test to get in the class because I didn't take 1020 (the pre-req for 2010, what I am taking). But if they let me register, that's their problem. The class is relatively small and we did some group work and so far, so good. It was sooooo weird because I thought she spoke clear English because her German sounded just like any other German I've heard come out of an American...but when she spoke in English, she had a pretty heavy Indian accent. It's very strange. Hopefully all continues to go well.

In-between German and Senior Seminar, I ran into Jamie. She found out some verrrrrrrrrry interesting stuff about our degree. Apparently, our degree includes a minor in Business. I was shocked, and so was she. How bad is it that no one in our major knew this? Pretty damn cool that I have a minor in business. All that bitching about business classes...I guess it paid off!

More interesting news...my Aunt Judy has been in town since Saturday...and my dad just got a phonecall from my Uncle Stan saying he and my cousin Andrew are in town for a couple of days. They live in Atlanta (home of the Ludacris, hellz yeah). It's like a reunion of my dad's family. What is the deal on that?

I haven't eaten anything besides breakfast today. I was going to go have Caesar's for lunch...but I had to meet one of my sister's friends to get her German books from him. He used them last semester to take the same German class I'm taking. Love saving a few bucks on books. Anyway, that took a little longer than I anticipated, so I didn't eat. Decided to get a Pepsi...only the Pepsi machine was not taking One Cards and it ate my dollar. Krystn saved my day by letting me eat some of her animal crackers. I'm sorta hungry, but sorta not. I'm blaming my nose.
