Rich ended up pulling four decent seats together early in the day on Ticketmaster dot com. Was nice to be able to sit with some friends...faces were hard to find at this show...as everyone was spread out all over due to no Fan Club tickets.

Our day inside the venue started with Ed performing Throw Your Arms Around Me solo. So nice. Thank you Ed!

I thought Detroit One was pretty kickass...did not really think the band would put so much effort into night two...making it very different from night one.

Show opened kickass (like night one)...with Last Exit into Brain Of J, Hail, Hail, and Save You. Things slowed down next...

...as the band started to play something that kind of sounded improv-ish. It ended up being a re-worked version of In My Tree. Give or take what anyone says about the re-work (like the song was perfect...it didn't need to be touched or whatever)...it was good to hear the song in the set again.

Red Mosquito came next into Present Tense. The remainder of the set was pretty damn amazing. Rich got his Whipping and I was pleased by Corduroy and Down.

Encore opened with You Are...which I was thrilled about because a) I love that song and b) my brother was there to see it and I thought he might dig hearing such a different song out of my "stupid" band.

Remainder of encore was kinda "eh." I hate to complain, but I'm being truthful...

But when you put 1 and 2 together...you get yourself two freaking awesome shows in Michigan...
