Everyone was quite well-rested in time for Alpine: two full days off.

I am biased when it comes to Alpine Valley because it is my favorite venue in America. I am always optimistic about shows at Alpine.

The show opened with a typical opener, Sometimes, and blasted into the classic staple Corduroy. I seriously don't think a Pearl Jam show is a Pearl Jam show without a performance of Corduroy.

Gods' Dice into Faithfull was more than awesome. And then they went into Immortality?!? NICE!

Deep went into my first I Believe In Miracles. I hadn't listened to any of the MP3s of them performing it prior to this day, so it was a nice thing for me to hear.

The encore began with a solid Vs. medley. Old school Go into Animal...then into Elderly Woman and Glorified G.

Any show that Glorified G is played at automatically gets a stamp of approval from me.

They also played Bushleaguer...again!

Second encore was rocking: Fortunate Son...Baba O'Riley...Ledbetter to close.

No Smile in Wisconsin...like no Baba in Chicago...it just felt weird.
