Wednesday, December 7th, 2005[Entry 429]a cold and frosty morning...
there's not a lot to say...The girl that I wanted to win America's Next Top Model won! That makes me happy in such a stupid way---what do I get out of it? Absolutely nothing!
I skipped out on Jazzercise today because I managed to hurt my back somehow. It hurt last night...right before I went shopping. But got worse overnight. It's better now...but I didn't want to mess it up so that it hurt for five days instead of maybe two.
I got off work to only find traffic on the expressway. So I got off of that shit and went to go pick up my vitamins. It's kind of a pain for me to go get them because the store where I buy them from is by a mall. A mall I hate...but a pretty major mall. Traffic was a bitch and a half. I tried to not let it get to me...I was a very polite driver... allowing a lot of people to turn in front of me or turn left into Best Buy or wherever. The stores...though...people are definitely lacking the holiday spirit. I always hold the doors for people if they are within close range. After the vitamin store, I went to TJ's...where a girl was literally three feet in front of me and was cearly didn't want to be inconvenienced by holding the door open for me. I later ran to K-Mart (for a return) and then stopped at the Dollar Tree (for Laffy Taffy---which they were OUT of!!!). It seems people have forgotten how to say "thank you" when you do favors for them...such as holding a door open for them. How difficult is it to say "thank you?" I don't hold doors open for people so I can hear those words... I hold them open to be nice...but come on! I always says, "thanks" when someone holds the door for me. It's just common courtesy. On top of that---it's the holidays! People should be nicer!
Damn!
I've become fully convinced that Eggos are the lazy woman's dinner. Twice this week I have grabbed a pot out of the cabinet to cook dinner...and twice this week I put the pot back into the cabinet and reached for the toaster instead. That is so bad!
I have been so crazy busy at work---which is a good thing. But there's so many minor things I've been intending on doing during lunch that I just haven't had time to do. Today, though we opted to go to Shield's for lunch. We needed it. You have to get out once a week. It's good for you. Pizza is good for you, too. Especially Shield's pizza.
I can't believe Christmas is almost here! I got my time off approved which makes me geeked. I'm just excited to have a full week off to do nothing. No big plans and that is fine by me.
