i wanted to play...
i wanted to love you...

Minus last night, I didn't exactly have the coolest weekend.

Friday night I cleaned and then shopped with my mom. Saturday morning...oh Saturday morning. I woke up to the most disgusting shit (literally) ever. Coco had a case of the runs. But she got poo alllll over herself and dragged her butt all over my floor to try to clean herself. She wiped her butt on two rugs...I throw those in the washing machine. Then I find Coco and almost puke when I see what a smellyass mess she was. DISGUSTING. I lock her in the bathroom...didn't know what to do because I had a hair appointment at 9am. And I was NOT about to miss my hair appointment; they had put me on a cancelation list as it was and my hair desperately needed to be cut. I ended up rolling up the clean rugs in the computer room and taking the cat tree and computer chair out. I locked Coco and Isaac in the room and figured we'd take care of Coco when I got home.

But the greatest part was when I got home. It's almost as if a little kid rubbed his hands in shit and painted with it all over the room. She managed to poop while I was gone and create an even larger mess. She wiped her ass on the rolled up carpets. She wiped her ass all over the floor. All over a duvet. All over my cabinets. It was downright disgusting.

The first task was giving her ass a bath. My mom and I struggled to control her. We wore rubber gloves because she was that bad...and she ripped thru two pairs of the gloves from kicking and squiggling---and this is the cat that is declawed in the front. After that task was accomplished, I went into the warzone. I ended up washing the entire floor of the entire house. It was really rad and it was exactly how I wanted to spend my Saturday morning. Before I left the hair salon, I bitched about the task at hand..."Ugh I can't wait to get home and clean everything..." My stylist was like, "Well at least you'll look good while doing it!" Yeah, wasn't any consulation; when you get your hair done, you don't want to be scrubbing floors and dipping your hands in (shudder) Pine Sol.

So yeah, that was fun. After a nap, I went down to Ferndale to meet up with Barry and Laura and their friends to go down to Noel Night. It was a really good time because I was the only one out of five people that had spent a lot of time in the area of Noel Night...so I got to be tour guide...which I love doing when it comes to Detroit stuff. I think they all had a really good time. We did damn good, too...the best I've done in my three years of going to Noel Night...we checked out the main branch of the Detroit Public Libary, the Park Shelton, a historic home that kind of looks like castle, the Detroit Historical Museum, and a church. Oh, and we watched the ice sculpture contest for a few. I was busting at the seams by the time we left Noel Night: I had had a cup of hot cider, a chocolate cupcake (it was fantastic), and a cup of hot cocoa. I coulda puked.

After that, we decided to go down to Niki's. We had a bitch of a time finding a parking spot at the casino parking structure. Almost got into a fist fight over a parking spot (some jackass cut us off in order to get to a spot that totally should've been ours). We had a good time at Niki's and we were going to go elsewhere...but then when we got outside we noticed it had snowed a decent amount since we went into Niki's. We decided to forgo our plans...get the parking validated and head back to the 'burbs. Probably a good thing we did because it was pretty bad when we were driving home. It took awhile to get back to Laura and Barry's. Even though Barry was still willing to go out and have a good time, we were all kind of like...we should head home cause who knows what the weather is going to be like in an hour or two.

Woke up way too early this morning. Had to nix some plans I was geeked on...but that's life; it happens. However, poopy part was I felt like complete shit. I seriously felt like I was going to vomit. My head was pounding. Erin came over and we ate breakfast and I popped a Motrin 800 (that ended up doing jack shit, by the way). We ended up doing some shopping and I found a really nice Buffalo black down jacket for 1/2 the price of that Diesel one I returned. That made me pretty satisified. Now I can totally be warm and not worry about finding a new warm jacket. Check!

Later, Erin and I went and met Liz and Will at Shield's for lunch. Though I still wasn't feeling 100% awesome, I still ate Shield's. You can not deny Shield's. No way.

So that was my weekend. Just about everything. The poop was definitely the worst.
