i wonder if i'll ever see you again...
So the week begins. And this sucks! FIVE WHOLE work days in a row?!? I have a lot of fun stuff coming up...leading up to Christmas. Erin's coming into town
this weekend. Saturday's Noel Night. I have a rad activity planned for Sunday. Radder than rad, even! The next weekend is the Jazzercise holiday party. The weekend after
that is the Boston Edison Home Tour. And then the weekend after that is Christmas...which most importantly means time off to do nothing! I should at least
do something constructive...like fill the nail holes in the trim and paint.
Today was awesome because the first thing Lauren tells me this morning is, "I made cookies...you have to come eat some." I waited about an hour before I attacked her for
some cookies. They were amazing. Made from scratch...chocolate with chocolate chips (and not even semi-sweet chocolate chips...milk chocolate chocolate chips!). I thought it was
kind of weird and random for her to bring baked goods to work on a Monday following a holiday so I asked her why she made them, "Oh, PMS; craved chocolate." See, total bonus for
working with chicks. I don't know why her making cookies seemed so weird to me...I do the same shit all the time. Just randomly make baked goods...but that's because I like to
bake. I wish I liked to cook like I like to bake.
It was 60-someodd degrees today. It was 17 degrees outside on Thanksgiving. HOW in the WORLD does that work? Bunch of bullshit! I even got a scarf at Target this weekend because I've
been freezing my behind off. I put it on with my coat this morning...and I was like, "Hmmm, that was kind of retarded."
Last night, right after I had a breakdown about a centipede, Tim called me. I am way excited because he is gonna send me the first season of The Office on DVD. I can't wait to watch
it! I think I only saw one episode of The Office during the first season. Mostly, I think, because I try to have this, "I'm too good for tv" attitude every once in awhile. I've realized
that's ridiculous and tv is AWESOME. I just limit my intake. Even if someone says such-and-such show is good, I'm like...can't watch it; can't get addicted to
another tv show.
Speaking of tv shows...yesterday morning I watched the first episode of Six Feet Under. I was feeling semi-Christmasy and that series starts off on Christmas Eve. I think I'm gonna watch it
from the beginning again. I can't help it that the show is so amazing! I can't wait for season 5 to come out on DVD.
I am in love with ambrosia. I'm so in love with it, I'm even eating the pineapples in it. I don't even like pineapples (I hate anything "tropical" tasting...pineapples, coconuts, etc.). I'm adding a
"currently rocking" thing to the top of my journal. I should put it in a table but I'm fucking lazy. I'm gonna try it out for awhile. Figure out how I want to format it. Because there should
certainly be a "not rocking at all" part...for example, cold weather and snow are definitely not rocking at all.
