I could seriously throw a parade right now. And I hate parades!
Isaac was under the weather yesterday. More than likely a reaction to the shot he got on Friday. Apparently my cat is hyper sensative to stuff (this is my diagnosis, not an doc's diagnosis). He is usually on my ass in the morning for food. But not yesterday morning. There was actually some food left in the bowls (unheard of). Even after I poured food into the bowls, he didn't even come running. So I went searching for him...and there he was; laying on a rug in front of the kitchen sink. He never lays there. Ever. He also had a meow that I could only describe as sickly. Everytime I tried moving him to a more comfortable spot (my bed, a fluffier rug), he would just slowly walk right back to that spot in the kitchen. It made me so sad. He did finally eat around 2:00 and again around 11:00. But not much.
This morning when I woke up, he was in the hallway...waiting for his food. Isaac's ok! Yay!
Right now it's all dreary out. I love dreary days when snow is on the ground. I think the sun being out when there's snow on the ground is a bunch of bullshit. If we have to suffer with the cold, as far as I am concerned, the sun can kiss my ass.
I went to Dearborn with my ma yesterday. Though I don't have a lot of cash right now, I decided I reaaaaaaaaaally needed a new down coat because I've been freezing my ass off. Last year I threw out my awesome black Miss Sixty down coat. I loved that coat...but the damn thing leaked down out of the fleece lining like the down was water. It was ridiclous. I would have feathers all over my clothes, all over my car, and shit, all my gloves and stuff have feathers all over them, too because down leaked out of the pockets as well. Anyway, I found a really cute Diesel coat on BlueFly but they only had a medium...and I wanted to be sure I should go with a medium. So off the Diesel store we went so I could try on some Diesel coats to make sure a medium would be ok. It was kind of a retarded trip... seeing as I own a couple of Diesel coats and my sister owns a Diesel coat...and I know mediums are the way to go for me. Which is ridic confusing and weird because I can't get by with a medium in their shirts/tops... I always had to buy a small. No exceptions. I think the brown version of the coat has more of an impact...but the cream color will go with brown AND black. That is a dream coat in my opinion; a coat that will go with everything. Kind of like my lovely green COle Haan purse.
Weird thing about Diesel, though. My warddrobe used to almost entirely exist of Diesel shirts. Last weekend I put on one...and looked in the mirror and I was like, "This isn't me." Put on another, "Yeah, this doesn't work." Confirmation I've gone through another style evolution.
Anyway. Back to Fairlane/Dearborn. We checked out DSW for wedding shoes for Gen. Checked out Off 5th. Checked out Forever 21...and was horribly disappointed with their lack of...well shit I wanted. The store was about 75% blazers and 15% tanktops and 10% cardigans. While I love me some cardigans...I don't need any. Everything they had, you had to buy something else to go with. Usually this time of year they have a lot of sweaters. And cheap sweaters. NOTHING. Absolutely none of this. So I left empty handed. We also went to Bath and Body Works for the first time in forever. We left the mall with nothing. But it wasn't so bad because Fairlane wasn't busy at all. Saks was ddddddddead.
My dad had mentioned he saw a new Target and TJMaxx over in Dearborn (technically, as it turns out, it's Allen Park)...so my mom and I went looking for that. Wasn't too hard to find seeing as it's straight off of Southfield. Huge new Target. Huge new TJMaxx. I bought nothing at TJ's. But of course, can't leave Target emptyhanded. That Target is a hidden gem; it was not that busy at all. I think it's because it's so new and kind of off the beaten-path. Loved it!
I hate crowds when I shop. I prefer to shop on weekdays to avoid them. But yesterday wasn't too bad...surprisingly.
Then I came home and reformated my computer. Not even gonna get into why. My computer wasn't that messed up or anything. But now I'm back to square one. The desktop's not cluttered. I don't have a bunch of shit I never use on it. It's great! I just have to install The Sims 2 and iTunes (and iPod software) and I'll be "up to date."
