no invitations to the ball...

This was so stupid. Yesterday morning Isaac wouldn't let me sleep. So I was up at 7am (but stayed in bed, refused to let him have his way). Went downtown and looked at a possible (perhaps solid) venue for my sister and Aaron's wedding. I got some really cool overhead shots of my favorite building (The Vinton Building). The last time I was in that building, I was so excited about the view, I forgot to even look at the Vinton Building. So I was way geeked to snap some shots of it. If I'm not lazy, perhaps today I'll throw them up on my Vinton page. I have a lot of stuff on my agenda, today. All stuff I need to do because I've been lazy all week. Anyway. My morning was packed with Detroit stuff.

Eventually I mozied on over to the complete other side of town to go to Kim's house for a little get-together. Not without stopping at the "MegaShoe" Marshall's on my way (though I was deeply disappointed---it looked like they got nothing new in since the last time I was there). The last time I was at Kim's house was before her wedding...when her (now) husband was living there alone...with no furniture (the day I was there they were waiting for the furniture to be delivered). Anyway, I had a good time at Kim's house, but left relatively early (11:15ish) because I was so dog tired and still had to drive about 30-40 minutes to get home.

For some reason, when I got home, all I wanted was food. I was tempted to stop at the 24 hour McDonald's by my house and get no-salt fries...but I figured if it was past midnight and I requested no-salt fries, the night shift may spit in them. So I went home and thought I'd eat some Jello...only I ate all the Jello (don't remember this, though) and didn't make any more.

Here comes the stupid part: after I shower and everything, I see Serendipity is on...on TBS. And I end up staying up to watch it. RETARDED! Why? Cause I own the fucking movie...and my DVD copy happens to have no commercial breaks (go figure). Stayed up to 2 for no good reason. See? That's stupid. And I was exhausted. Probably would've slept all day if I didn't set my alarm for 8:30 this morning...
