Sunday, November 6th, 2005[Entry 413]don't need no credit card to ride this train...
I had a $10 K-Mart gift card and a chance at 10% off merchandise today...so I went to K-Mart and bought some Christmas decorations (their selection of Christmas bulbs are amazing; the most beautiful, awesomest colors in the world). I also decided to buy the cheapest set of hot rollers they had. They were $15 and ionic. And if you put "ionic" on the packaging of hair appliances, I'm all over that shit. Anyway, I experimented tonight and I am so geeked on hot rollers right now! My hair looks inches shorter and it's fun. In the pic to the left, I combed out the curls...pre-combed out curls looked f-in awesome, too! It's not perfect...but it was my first time using hot rollers since I was 13.
Makes me all "tee-hee"y. What a totally 80's thing, eh? Hot rollers! I hot rollered my hair like everyday when I was in 7th grade...but it never looked as cool as the culers made my hair look tonight. Way overly excited about the new option for stylin' my hair!
I watched Back to the Future yesterday evening (I think? Like how I can't remember?)...and had to watch Part II today. In the middle of watching Part II I remembered that I hadn't visited bttf.com in AAAAAAAAAGES. So off I went...and discovered a documentry about the movie is premiering next year at some DeLorean show in Chicago. The thought of attending has me dorkily giddy. ALSO: there's a picture of Bob Gale on the website, I click on it...only to discover that bttf.com has "exclusively hosted" Bob Gale's first draft of Part II (my favorite of the three if you didn't know that). At first I thought it would just be like a chunk of the screenplay...but NO...it's the ENTIRE movie. All 147 pages contain the entire first draft of Part II. And wow...not to be a jerk, but what a suckfest. I'm so glad it was just the first draft...because it was way weak. If you have some time to blow and love the trilogy, go over and read it...it's definitely entertaining. Then again I probably am entertained by it because I love those movies so damn much. And then I geeked out when I realized I was watching Part I on November 5th. Since I know you're not a geek like me...November 5th, 1955 is when Doc Brown hits his head in the bathroom hanging up the clock and dreams up the flux capacitor...and ends up being the date that Marty arrives back in 1955. Do I recall watching the movie before on November 5th? Nope! Rockass!
Now I'm going to be itching to watch Part III.
Thought I had a million more things to discuss but they've long since left my brain. So I'm just gonna go eat some mint chocolate chip ice cream instead of trying to revive those thoughts...
