Wednesday, November 2nd, 2005[Entry 411]faster we run...
I came home to the largest pile of cat shit in the litterbox. So large it could probably be in the Guinness Book of World Records. I am only hoping that the pile contains the feces of more than one cat. Cause if one cat created that mountain of poo, we have a problem.
From poop to Rosa Parks. Greatest segue ever.
The Rosa Parks funeral is still in progress right now (it's 7:21pm). The funeral started at 11:00am. It's sort of insane, eh? I think the local stations have been broadcasting the entire thing since 11am. Pretty crazy.
Hmmm. I received an e-mail about some Netflix class action lawsuit. The thing is, I don't really agree with the charges...but if I pretend I agree with the charges, I'm entitled to one free month of Netflix. I've been itching for Netflix like crazy but I can't afford it right now. Should I honor my conviction? Or go for the free loot? Such decisions...
I get free pizza at work tomorrow! I love free pizza days! And the free pizza is being supplied at our other office so it could be rad pizza! The free pizza we get at our office is so-so. Free pizza is free pizza, so I shouldn't complain. But there's always room for improvement isn't there?
On my drive home from Jazzercise, I was thinking about how tomorrow is the anniversary of Boise. That date always sticks out in my head and I'm all "aw" and stuff. And then it hit me...today's the anniversary of Portland 2000. Half a decade ago...my first trip to the Pacific Northwest. I was listening to I Stay Away (Alice in Chains) before I realized all this and I don't know...for some reason I think that song epitomizes Seattle. I don't know why I feel this way, but I just do. Maybe because it's such an amazing song. Who knows.
