[Entry 394]
<<||>>

you got me sick as a dog...

I love Todd Oldham. His specials that he's doing on HGTV are so much fun. I definitely want to make the "cubby credenza." I love simple furniture. And that credenza is about as simple as simple can be. The funnest part of tonight's episode was Elizabeth Berkley's face. Holy plastic surgery batman! Oooh! There's a book to compliment his show, too. I definitely miss Todd Oldham on House of Style. I also miss his random things for sale at Target.

Anyway. I am sick. Stupid, stupid allergies. This sickness this year confirms the fact that my worst allergy season is fall. I was sick last year on my way to Germany. Thinking back, I was sick after the East Troy show in 2000. I was going to pull out my old journal entries and see if I could find anymore whining on my part during the last part of September/early part of October. But that seems like it would require a lot of effort and I'm just not up for effort right now.

Yesterday I saw a Pontiac Solstice on the road for the first time. Talk about a fucking hott car. It was all black. And like I said, it was fucking HOTT! I dunno, I was just in love when I saw it on the road. And duh, I live in Detroit so I knew about it's existance before it was spotlighted on The Apprentice...but seeing it on the road. I wanted one before, now I really want one!

Crap I gotta catch my runny nose...

I hope my shit gets together by tomorrow morning. I don't want to waste a day off by using a sick day. I hate being sick. I especially hate when being sick gets you down enough that you can't do anything. Bah humbug to that!

Sheri asked if I am going to Borgata/Philly. I've been too busy (and now sick) to respond (yet here I am typing away...but as soon as I finish this I am heading back to the couch)...my answer, is obviously, no. She mentioned I "always" go to those shows. It took Sheri to point that out to me. I hadn't realized. I've been out to the Philly area for a fuckwad of shows. Strangely enough, Sunday night I was staring at US maps...and I never really realized how close Reading, Hershey, and Philly are. I drove back and forth to that same stupidass vicinity THREE times in a period of about 15 months. That's stupid, isn't it?

I wish I had the moolah to go out to some more shows. OH WELL; 'tis life.

Ok back to the couch...My Name Is Earl and Real World yet to go. Woo hoo! Extreme dorkness!
