walked around my room...
Had a busy day yesterday...
Stayed at work until 5:45. And I literally had to drag myself away. Ridiculous. What's even more ridiculous is that I WAS NOT the only person still
at work late on a Friday. Ridiculous! We're ridiculous! I didn't really mind staying because I had to meet Krystn between 6:30 and 7...right on "that" side
of town and I thought it was super pointless to drive back to my place and then drive right back where I started. I planned to either go to Target or run to a
Marshalls/TJs. I opted to Marshalls and TJs because I needed to buy perishables at Target and I didn't want food to sit in the car for a long time.
Anyway, I go to TJ Maxx first...which is weird because when I go to this TJ Maxx and Marshalls, I go to Marshalls first...but I was coming from work and I came from the
opposite direction, so I went to TJ's first. They had clearance shoes up the wazoo. Of course nothing great in my size. Lots of cool home stuff I didn't need (got to draw
the line in my home stuff buying habits). Then I went to Marshalls. Where I found white Editor pants. Total drool. They appeared to not be see-thru, so I bought them. I also
got this cool pair of BCBG shoes...however, they don't fit so they must go back. As I was checking out, a bunch of cops come in and they approach some guy with a huge afro.
I was shopping in the middle of a shoplifting ring! A bunch of dudes got arrested. There were like three or four cop cars out front. When I walked out of the store, I had to walk
thru the huge crowd that was forming. I looked at one of the cop cars and a bunch of stolen merchandise was on the trunk (and a bunch of it was...BOXER SHORTS?!?).
I took this as the final sign that I should not be spending money I don't have.
I then went and met Krystn for dinner. We hadn't gotten together in sooooooo long. But I have been so busy with house/condo hunting and then remodeling that I simply haven't had the
time to be social. Anyway, it was really good to see her. She bought me a housewarming gift (in a Miss Sixty bag nontheless...how rad).
After that, I ran to my parent's and then ran to my place...and then drove down to my sister and Aaron's new place. They closed on a loft in Detroit yesterday. By the time I got there
(a little before 10), most of the stuff was moved. They really moved it fast; last time they moved it literally was an all day affair. Got home about midnight. Stayed up until about 1.
And woke up right at 8---I love not having the ability to sleep in. It's really awesome.
So that was my Friday...
