Might be without internet access for a few. Not that this would change my wonderful patterns of journal updating anyway.
Very tired and I just woke up. I hate that.

Went house hunting with Gen and Aaron yesterday. The first one we saw was really nice...but it was too close to 8 Mile (in my opinion) and
had more wrongs than rights: new windows did not work properly...they re-did the place and used stock carpet from either Lowe's or Home Depot
but their choice in carpeting was downright awful (it looked like the carpeting was 20 years old, not brand new)...the new cabinets on one side
of the galley kitchen did not work-they didn't leave enough space for the stove and fridge, plus the height was jacked, you would have to have a very
small fridge for it to work. But the upstairs was amazing. I don't think that house was a consideration anyway...I think it has come down between two
houses. I drove by the one with my mom and I vetoed it based on location alone (ie proximity to bordering town that lacks a police department). The other
one that was considered (at least as of yesterday)...I really really loved. It had an awesome basement. A beautiful new two car garage. Big backyard. Wonderful
deck. And the trim (crown moldings especially) were to die for. Plus it's walking distance to an elementary and high school...not to mention two different
parks. Anyway, it was kind of fun to go house hunting again.
My iPod is on the fritz. I have to get it replaced...but I don't want to part with it in order to do so. It's like my third eye. It's freezing every now and again...
and twice it's been in the middle of the song and it started "skipping" and went to the next track. Plus it's battery-life ain't what it's cracked up to be anymore.
