i let it happen again...

"Kind of" a "slacker" today.

"Kind of not" a "slacker" today because I stayed late at work. I could've stayed at work for another three or four hours and been busy the whole time. But I was getting a little freaked out because I was literally the only person there. Except for one chick in accounting who I chanced upon when I was leaving.

I was still going to go to the late Jazzercise class, but I didn't realize my parents were bringing my Uncle Bob and his kids to our house. Since they live in North Carolina (Raleigh) I don't see them too often, so I decided to skip Jazzercise. We showed them my place and then drove for like three seconds through downtown RO...which was crazy at 10 to 8. Everyone was trying to get into whatever bar they could to catch the Pistons game. Downtown RO was the center of excitement last year when the Pistons won the championship (click here for my thoughts on that).

Anyway, then I had a craving for Jim's (ice cream from the ice cream place I used to work at...and Gen used to work at...and Ryan used to work at). So instead of working out, I ate 3/4 of a baby Nerd Flurry. And it was good.

What the hell was Mary Carey doing on The Daily Show? Guess I should quit being a fuckwad and make sure I turn into The Daily Show when it starts...not 10 minutes into the program.

I just bought a subscription to Budget Living magazine. My mom picked it up...oh, over a year ago. And it got lost in the shuffle and she found it. What a cool mag. I had looked through it before...but I guess I didn't pay attention to a lot of it. The issue she bought (Feb/March 2004) had cheap, stylish sofas in it. Even though I gots myself a sofa...eventually I'll want to buy a new one. Or else I'll just steal Rob's like I really want to.

There were two bugs on my car this morning; some stupid little shit ass bug on my driver's window and a bright green (baby?) grasshopper on my windshield. I thought the dumb bug on my window would fly away when I slammed my door shut. It did not. I thought both bugs would fly off my car when I hit 70 on the freeway. They did not. I tried with all my might to get those bastards off my car. The dumb bug on my window finally flew away right before I turned into work. The stupid (baby?) grasshopper was still on my windshield when I got out of my car at work. The grasshopper was so disgusting looking. If it got squashed, it would've been bright lime green juice all over the place. SICK SICK. I HATE BUGS!!!!!!!

Regardless of bugs...tomorrow is FRIDAY...yipeekiyiyay!
