Sunday, June 5th, 2005[Entry 336]i thought she'd be there holding daisies...
My eyes are burning. Indicating I am tired and my eyes are tired of staring at iTunes figuring out what to delete off my iPod and what to add. This was a stupid project I shouldn't even have gotten started on. It's all Hum's fault: I had this random urge to listen to Stars by Hum. Remember that song? 1995 represent! I loved Stars. Loved it. Weird that I "had" to hear it today. New addition to the iPod.
Busy weekend. Again. Cabinet hanging. Final coats of paint. Managed to slice two of my fingers in five places while carrying my dishwasher to the car. Apparently, the dishwasher I bought was dropped...because when we took it out of the box, it had a nice lean to it. The bottom bracket was bent...not to mention the kickplate was ridiculously bent. So that was an awesomely awesome waste of time...a trip to Lowes to be like, "Gimme a non-f'd up dishwasher, bitch!"
I'm also no longer a blonde...I'm back to redheadedjess. We'll see how long this lasts. It's a nice change. My mommy also cut my bangs for me. My mommy is my nice hairstylist.
We had a crazy thunderstorm this evening. Humid and hot as hell all day today. It felt like a day in mid-July or August. It was nutty hot.
Went to my grandma's today. Jewish was crazy "pet me! pet me!" He kept rubbing up against my legs, which was making me mad because I was wearing these Diesel capris that are some sort of blend and his hair was sticking to them like you wouldn't believe. I pet him until he started getting frisky and he wanted to bite me. I don't mind when the housecats do that, but unfortunately, Jewish is a tough street cat, I dunno where he's been (actually he pretty much is at my grandma's foot, he's not much of a wanderer). When the storm blew in, I couldn't help but think of poor Jewish, outside in the pouring rain. I wish we could take him in: but I dunno. He's gotta be at least 3-4 years old now...and never used a litter box. Domesticating him probably wouldn't be too tough, but you never know. Really iffy. He lets my grandma hold him, though.
Man, why does tomorrow have to be Monday already?
