come on girl and get down...

Lack of excitement...how boring! Here...I'll throw in a picture of my metallic shoes...

Was that exciting or what? Voice your opinions now. I only took a picture to show them to Toby. I feel sorry for you people...all the lame pictures I have subjected you to over the years.

Team Time won the "Treasure Hunt" for the month of March. Meaning, me and my Jazzercise teammates collected enough points through the month of March to get a free Jazzercise water bottle. I probably won't ever use it because I usually take bottled water to Jazzercise...but it is a very cool water bottle.

My closet light decided to quit working this week. Well, I mean it worked. It worked well...so well it didn't want to turn off. It was your basic light fixture with a string pull to turn it off and on. Within the past week, it started being a jerk...and a couple of mornings ago, I couldn't get the damn thing to turn off. I told my dad, he went upstairs to my closet. He came back down, I ask, "Did you turn it off?" And he said he couldn't get it to turn off so he unscrewed the bulb. He was a nice dad and he replaced the fixture with a nice, new one that day. I wonder how old that light fixture was...probably as old as however many years ago the upstairs of our house was finished. I turn my closet light on like 17 times a day. So I'm sure my repetitive use screwed it up. What can I say? I love my closet.

Today I had a semi-score; I got an Earl Jean top that I tried on months ago. I really really really liked it, but it was $30 (which was way cheap considering the Earl suggested retail was $140.00). Since I don't like spending $30 on a top (unless it's James Perse, Diesel, or a really nice Buffalo top) I put it back on the rack. Well, by chance, I found one, in my size, on the clearance rack today. 1/2 off! Nice, huh? I guess it was considered a winter top but to me, it is a total summer top...afterall, the back is kind of open. People don't usually let that much air touch their skin in the winter. Unless I'm crazy.

I bought a book off Amazon.com (used)...I didn't know it existed. I stumbled across it. Anyway, it was listed in acceptable condition and was for sale for $5. Most of the other copies, used, were like $30 because it was out of print. I thought... I'd rather have a shitty copy than pay $30 for a not-so-shitty copy. So I bought the "shitty copy" and well, turns out it's a brand new copy. I love when stuff like that happens!

Oh yeah...and today's Bob's birthday...Happy Birthday Bob!
