like a fool i went and stayed too long...
Today would have been our old dog's birthday. I don't talk about her much because she didn't quite have the connection with my family as that loveable beast called Rascal.
Callie was a black and white cocker spaniel. My mom used to be crazy about cocker spaniels. I do have to say, black and white cocker spaniels are pretty sharp looking dogs.
Anyway, Callie had some mental problems. She ate her poop, too. That is so gross. She liked to bite children. Needless to say, not long after she almost bit some little girl's
eye out, Callie was put to sleep. Isn't that a nice story?
I was going to set up looking at more houses on Wednesday but I'm sort of pooped out on that deal. Not the whole buying-my-own-place deal...but the house deal. A condo looks better
and better each day.
Speaking of "better"...oh my gosh! Jerry from The Bachelorette gets better and better every week. He is the most adorable, cutest guy ever in the history of that show. Ok, ok,
everyone probably doesn't agree with me. That's fine. But I find him unbelieveably hott. When he wins each week, I scream, "Yay!" Which is sort of weird...cause shouldn't I be rooting
for him to be sent home? Nah, I'm a nice girl:-)
The Post Office's website wasn't working worth a crap this morning. Almost made me late for work...in fact, I had to get my breakfast to go and eat it at my desk instead of eating it at
home. Not a good way to start your Monday morning. It required your CV2 code. While I grumbled as I reached for my purse...I totally understand that. But anyway, the two cards I had stored
were not working; the site was telling me my cards did not match my address. Right. That's why I've used both credit cards multiple times before at that website. I was a bit mad.
There was a special tonight about US soldiers building the Alaskan highways during WWII. I didn't watch it, but we recorded it. My grandpa (my mom's dad) was a cook in the army and was stationed
in Alaska...building the Alcan highway. Would be funny if we saw some footage of my grandpa, huh?
