It was something I couldn't pass up. I've been drooling over LCD monitors for a long time. Way too long. The thing is, I noticed (over time), that LCD
monitors when included in packaged deals, are the best price. And well, Best Buy was having a good sale.
While I feel guilty for my purchase, I can justify it many ways in my head; when all is said and done...I got one year, no interest. So I don't have to stress
about paying it off (even though a) I have the money and b) I know it will stress me out, I hate lingering debt). My old computer was 3 years old. But goodness...
this new phatty computer kicks ass!
I decided since I was already wasting money I didn't want to waste on a new system...might as well upgrade from the 17" monitor to the 19" monitor. Of course,
no Best Buys in Michigan, Ohio, or Indiana had the monitor in stock. So while I brought home the CPU and printer today, I will have to go back to Best Buy sometime
within the next week and get my new monitor. I can not wait for it! It is so gorgeous! My new computer comes with the Giga Pocket software...which acts pretty much like a
Tivo. I don't have that all hooked up yet because I need to split my cable line before I can do that. It also came with a remote control...which has always been a dream of mine...
a remote control for your computer. Though you can't turn the computer off or on with it, you can put into standby...which is still yummy! I would post a picture but I
am still lacking some important programs on this computer. All in good time...all in good time. I know you can't wait to see it;-)
I saw a couple of good movies this weekend: Maria Full of Grace and Garden State. Yeah, I already saw Garden State...but I tell you: I liked it the first
time around, and I like it even more after seeing it a second time. I will eventually have to buy it. Perhaps when my computer is paid off:-) I just want to squeeze Zach
Braff's character (Andrew) and hold him forever. Definitely have fallen for his character in that movie.
Tomorrow is back-to-work day. What a drag. It should be alright because everyone will be back and everyone will be a-buzz about their time off.
Next week should be fun; new glasses and new pimp monitor. Woo hoo!
