Guess what?!? Jon Stewart is coming to Detroit in April! Tickets are on sale tomorrow! They are expensive ($39+), but I have to be there. My bro said he'd go with me, but he probably doesn't want to
pay in the upwards of $50 to see Jon Stewart. I think I will go ahead and buy two tickets and just hope someone else wants to go. I'm giddy over the thought of seeing Jon Stewart live. AND at the Detroit
Opera House---I've never been inside the Detroit Opera House...and shit, my mousepad is a Detroit Opera House mousepad (yay for freebies!).
I was a really bad girl last night. I bought two pairs of shoes. Ok, one pair of shoes and one pair of boots. The shoes are Chinese Laundry. I paid too much for them, but I needed a pair of black dress shoes that could
be worn with a skirt. I've also needed a pair of tall boots to wear with skirts. I have a hard time finding tall boots because the shafts are always made too large for my legs. I found a pair that is almost perfect...Steven,
of course. Always end up finding the brand I almost hate the mostest. I was good in the aspect that I did not buy the pair of Miu Miu shoes that I fell head over heels for. They were gorgeous...woven leather; orange, cream, and black.
They were $120...which was a good price and all...but I couldn't bring myself to blow $120 on a pair of shoes. Especially such a pair of unique shoes that I couldn't wear them but once a year. Did I really just say that? Yes.
Seriously kids, it's been well over five years since I spent over $100 on one pair of shoes. I just can't do that shit anymore. Not until I make more moolah.
Sigh. Those shoes felt like they were made for me. They fit so well. I wish I could share a picture. They were the coolest shoes I have ever seen.
Anyway. Went out to dinner with my mom, brother, and Rich tonight. I had to return a pair of boots I bought at Target (see I was desperate...love Target clothes, shoes aren't so top notch, but again, I was desperate). Anyway, they
had the new Eminem cd to purchase. So I bought my copy. Nice picture of The State Theater on the back. Hellz yeah.
Ok, I am going to go to bed so I can go dream about those Miu Miu shoes.
