The Halloween party last night turned out to be really nice. They went all out. I was almost freaked out they wouldn't have enough food (though I had nothing to back
up my assumption), so I made some cupcakes. Turned out there was plenty of food. Lots of food. Lots of booze. Lots of music. Could've done without the wind...but you
gotta take what you can give.
Needless to say, this will be a short entry because I was out too late last night and woke up way too early this morning. Nothing like making yourself wake up after only three
hours of sleep...for no reason whatsoever. I was excited about sitting on the couch and watching horror movies today. However, all stations sucked ass this year and were way
wimpy on scary movies. And playing any of the Scream movies during a Halloween weekend should be a crime. Scream = not a scary movie.
I finally made my way to Loehmann's today to make my return. Though I can't credit myself; my parents were running errands and needed to go to Organized Living...which is right
by Loehmann's. I ended up going crazy at Organized Living (it's hard not to---at least that's what I think).
I know how much you all must love seeing pictures of my closet. Is it like every three months I throw one up in here? Today, though, I am proud. Because I hate my closet. I hated it a
lot more before my trip to Organized Living today...but there's still some hate. Anyway, I found a bunch of shoe organization stuff for 50% off. They had these nifty acrylic drawers and a nice free-standing
shoe rack. I didn't have measurements of where I wanted the drawers to go...so I only bought what I thought I needed. Turns out I could've used A LOT more. There's another Organized Living
on the other side of town. I may venture there this week. I need more of the larger drawers for my ridiculous huge (aka: platformed) shoes and sandals. I figure I use the shoe rack for
in season shoes, and use the boxes/drawers for out of season shoes. Nice system? The acrylic drawers are colored (that is why they are clearanced; the clear ones are full price). While I would
prefer clear, it's not worth paying regular price for something that goes IN YOUR CLOSET. Ok, I'll shut up already and show my new toys for my closet...pictures are not the greatest. Then again,
neither is my closet...
