drilling for fear makes the job simple...

September already? Shit, my brother's birthday is 10 days away. Still not 100% certain on what I will get him. Apparently he'd probably be happy if I bought him a bunch of exotic wood so he could make more plugs (if you don't check out his journal, you don't get it).

I keep forgetting to tell my Six Feet Under story. So Sunday night. Greatest night of the week. My mom's finally caught up...so she was able to watch this past week's episode when it airred. Lauren came over. All was well until 15 minutes into the episode. Billy's talking...and wham... the screen freezes. Billy is standing there. And nothing is happening. My dad ventures upstairs, "Cable's out." Yeah, no shit, but really freaky that Billy was frozen on the screen (even turned the tv off and turned it back on and he was still there). Make a long story short, we sat there bitching about it for 15 minutes before the damn thing went back on. Hello. I only need to watch tv one hour a week: Sunday nights 9:00-10:00. Why did that have to happen during that time? WHY? So I had to re-record it and watch the missing 15 minutes. I am so pissed off there's only one episode left. The show is about to explode. Literally. I think my tv set may explode during the season finale.

So. I am really scared about this election. I just can not fathom how people do not "see" that W is not a smart man. Fuck, Forrest Gump had more going on in the head than W. I think there's been so much action to try to motivate young voters...much more than elections of the past. I fear that if that doesn't motivate the young ones to vote...what the hell does it take?

On that note, I wonder if we'll get out of work early on election day so we can go vote and avoid crazyness. This is my first time voting "in person" for president... I had to do absentee for the 2000 election because I was off in Seattle seeing Pearl Jam a few days before election day. That was a really memorable election...like, the results. We were all bummed out because tour was done...but we were all chilling at Bowman's parent's house. And we watched the campaign results. And it was great because I was on the west coast...so I didn't have to stay up "late" to get the west coast results...

Ok I need to get some shit done before Animal Cops.
