Today I...
- had two donuts for breakfast. Chocolate frosted. My fav. They were good.
- talked to Mexicans, Argentinians, and WalMartians. It's amazing I didn't wind up with a headache.
- got caught in traffic. Nothing like my 10 minute drive home being 40 minutes today. RAWK.
- ate Buddy's pizza and gulped down a lot of lemonade.
- went and hung out with Bowman and Rich at Joe Louis Arena. It was my first time in Joe Louis since [I think]...6th grade. I think the last time I was there was for a Junior Red Wings game. They used to pass out free tickets in elementry school and my sister was obsessed and a Junior Red Wings groupie.
- saw American Idol rejects perform. I saw a bit of George Huff, LaToya, Jasmine, and a little bit of Diana perform. Believe me, it was not amazing.
- realized how ridiculous the American Idol tour really is. $40 for a ticket? And you wonder why the shows aren't selling out. Well, unless I'm wrong in thinking most Americans want to pay $40 to see a bunch of kids cover popular songs.
- got a George Huff button from Bowman. I knew my brother would love it, so I gave it to him. I was right, my brother loves it.
- got mad at Pop Tart people. Pop Tart is sponsering the tour. They hand out the new cookie dough Pop Tarts after the show. They refused to give them to bums. It's Detroit: there are a lot of bums. And many were waiting for free Pop Tarts. But they refused to give them to the bums. I was like, "Why don't we just get Pop Tarts and give them to the bums?" And that's what we did. I wish I had thought of it sooner and grabbed a billion and dispersed them to the homeless. They legitimately wanted food. They weren't asking for change. Just give them some food.
