Let's see. My day started off by me making sure I woke up in a timely manner to make sure I got my Benaroya vinyl and cd. I turn on my
computer and open Outlook Express and IE...and...drumroll, please...my cable modem is kaput. SWEET! 2nd time within the past week it has
done this. And the router need not be reset...the modem is flat out down. I try about three or four times within a 45 minute period. I also
call my mom at work who has an awesome dial-up connection. The Ten Club site...already having issues.
I went to work 1/2 hour early to see if it would be alright for me to try my luck on their computers. My boss had no problem with this. Of course,
the site was all cracked up like we expected it to be (shaking my head). It turned out to be alright because we had our own computer issues at work
and I sat at work for 2 1/2 hours and did basically 20 minutes worth of work. Therefore, I had the freedom to putz around with the Ten Club. I finally
got my vinyl order placed and then I tried my luck with my cd order. Came home and saw two cd orders had gone through. At least they were relatively
prompt with canceling the order. I'm also really happy I got my vinyl box set. I hate getting anxious about buying this crap, but I can't help it when
there are only 2,000 being printed.
Yeah, so I did not really work today. I pretty much hung out. Which I was alright with. I like working where I work, but at the same time, I like it enough
to be alright just chilling there. I don't think it will be a problem for me to keep this current job with my new job. At least I hope not because I really
don't want to give it up.
I had plans to go to Somerset and dinner with K...so I called her to see if she could get together earlier so we could avoid traffic and crap. She was up for it.
We went to Somerset. My goal was to go to Sephora to buy my foundation and then to Victoria's Secret so I could return everything I bought last week. I had bad news
waiting for me at Sephora: they were out of my foundation (Nordstrom was out, too). I think they're repackaging it...because not only is Nordstrom, Sephora, and Sephora.com
out of it...but UrbanDecay.com is out of it, too. Now it makes sense as to why it was selling ABOVE retail on eBay in recent weeks...no one has it! Frustrating.
Returned all my crap and then we headed to Express. K bought a cute skirt. Then we went to the old side of Somerset (I drove, I wasn't walking, I'm so lame). Oh yeah, and
we had Shield's before we shopped. Hellz yeah.
Not much else shaking. Caught up with friends. I have tomorrow off. Wednesday I go sign paperwork for my new job and get the whole scoop and stuff. Very exciting...and
when I say that, I say that without sarcasm: I am excited!
