[Entry 131]

i respect your wishes...

For a couple of hours last night and a couple of hours this morning, I labeled cds that were either not labeled, or were not labeled by me. This ended up being about 130+ cds within my "live recording" collection. Needless to say, it took awhile. It sucks, too, because it really doesn't matter because my "bootlegs" are so high up, I can't even really read the spines unless I climb on top a stool anyway.

The weird thing is, being hands on with my collection like that...reinforced my love for Pearl Jam. Like, I can't stop thinking about them right now. Isn't that strange? Maybe as I was labeling them, it brought back memories...and not only that...but I guess I felt overwhelmed by my collection and thought, "You know, this takes some dedication, I guess I really do like this band..." Sure, I labeled a few Radiohead and Dave Matthews cds (haha including shows Bob gave me in like...maybe January?)...but I'm like...yeah...Pearl Jam, woo!

Last night, I had a dream I was sitting on a couch, onstage, at an Avril Lavigne concert. I was not the only person on the couch. And it was so ridiculous. I don't know what the deal was on that. I just remember thinking, "Ridiculous!"

I was bored all day, so I decided to go shopping. My mom came with. I wanted to go to the Diesel store to see if they had this one pretty pink purse I saw in NYC but didn't want to spend the money on (I'm dumb, eh?). Anyway, they did not have any of those purses (it's like my burnt orange Diesel purse but they had in pink and blue and pretty colors). I'm sort of mad at myself for not getting it because I love my burnt orange purse...the size and everything. Regardless, they had another purse on sale...which is how I like IT. It's bright magenta with brown plastic handles. The inside is lime green...so it's yummy. I think the style is "CoCo." While I am excited about the purse, I am admitedly way more excited about the free goodies I got. They gave me the latest Diesel cd. Not that I ever listen to them...but it came with three Diesel pins...which is kind of fun. They also gave me the fall/winter preview catalog...which is a comic book (The Return of the Ice Crusaders). AND...I got a Society of Nature Lovers (the spring/summer ad campaign) poster. And it's like huge...maybe 6 feet by 4 feet. Talk about helping out my ad wall! I got to figure out how I can incorporate it...regardless, it kicks ass...and I don't care if I am the biggest nerd on the planet for being excited about an ADVERTISEMENT.

My Uncle Bob, Aunt Peggy, and cousins Kevin and Mark are in town. My uncle's scar on his arm is very very very disgusting.

I saw 50 First Dates last night. Wasn't too thrilled to see it...but shit, Rob Schneider's character had me cracking up here and there throughout the movie. It ended up being pretty cute. And Rob Schneider was like a COOL version of Boom. If you ask me. Haha.
