[Entry 129]
<<||>>

as of now i bet you got me wrong...

I feel so rotten because I haven't been real good with keeping up on my e-mails. I have some in my box from the last week of May. It's just that there are somedays when I am typing and doing things on a computer ALL DAY at work...and when I come home, the last thing I want to do is type some more. And when I type too much in one day, my hands get sloppy and I make a bunch of type-os...as I am kind of doing now.

After I got off work, my mom and I went and ran some errands. I had a few returns to take care of. First we went to Marshalls. I got two Express button-up shirts (LOL so not my style) for my new job. They actually are really nice and I hope to get back out to a different Marshalls tomorrow to find some more. You can't beat buttoned up collared shirts for $12.99. Then we went to TJ Maxx. Then we went to The Somerset Collection...so I could take care of my Urban Decay Lip Gunk mishap. My mom darted off to Bath and Body Works (the one at Somerset is different than any other BBW...they carry a lot of upscale stuff that other BBW don't carry...non-BBW stuff, other brands, yo). A girl at work was ranting and raving about how the Victoria's Secret semi-annual sale is going on.

Now, I don't give a rat's ass about Victoria's Secret. I think their bras are overpriced...and yeah, they have some nice panties and stuff, but some people act like they're the world's only lingerie supplier...and that's so not true. Anyway, I really wanted to find a new bra...and I always have a bitch of a time finding them. I will totally spare the details. I found some I liked...and the store was crazy, and all the dressing rooms were full, so I had to wait. As I was waiting, a girl walked out and that girl turned out to be my old roommate. Like what are the chances of that? Last time I saw her was at Erin's birthday party at Belle Isle in September. She was there buying intimate apparel for her wedding day. She's getting married in July. I left the store with three bras...I figured I would make the decision at home. Buying a bra takes some dedication...and it's never right making a long term decision as what bra you are going to wear for months...in a dressing room.

Oh yeah...so the Pistons. Totally rocked the party last night. Immediately at the game's conclusion, fireworks were shooting off all around. It was crazy. Then came the helicopters coming to film downtown (downtown RO, not downtown Detroit, although there was some action in downtown Detroit). Downtown RO was a crazy mess of people...pouring into the streets from the bars. Bunch of a drunk hooligans. It was pretty entertaining to watch that on tv.

However, it was not quite so entertaining to see the condition of downtown RO today. What a fucking pigsty. The city should be ashamed of itself for not getting the ball rolling and cleaning the mess up. I have never seen so many cigarette butts in one area...ever. Not only were the sidewalks crowded with cigarette butts...but so was the street. The city should have at least had the street cleaners out as soon as the crowds had dispersed...and left it up to the store owners to clean up the sidewalk mess. It was really pitiful and I think there was no excuse for it. I hope it's cleaned up tomorrow.

Who's The Boss? is on again...this no-Roseanne-at 11 and 11:30 thing is really throwing me off and I'm not digging it. Nick at Nite likes to do that to me...first they take away Three's Company... and I was pissed they put on Roseanne. And now I think they're replacing Roseanne with Who's the Boss?...and I'm pissed. That's speculation, but I can read Nick at Nite like a book...no need to even research it. Bastards.
