i want to see you smile again...

I thought I'd be a nice daughter and transfer numbers into my mom's new cellphone from her old cellphone. Her new cellphone is lame. It's a really cute little flip phone (with no external caller id---dumb!). It takes forever to input numbers...partly because the select button is opposite of my phone (why does Motorola do that anyway???). I thought her phone would be the perfect phone if it had external caller id...then I went through her ringtones. It has a really nice sound and has actual talking in the ringtones (like songs start off "1, 2, 3, 4...")...but these ringtones are downright awful and cheesy. It came with NO normal ringtones. No regular ringing whatsoever. It has a cat meowing. It has birds chirping. But no sounds that sound anything like a telephone. Ridiculous.

Anyway...
Now my dad and brother have the same cellphone as me. Funtimes. But I bet they don't have a Lil Jon ringtone like I do...!

Work was good today. I like my job more and more each day. I feel really appreciated there...that's a good feeling, you know? Had some good laughs today.

Made an appointment to get my haircut tomorrow. I'm amped. I'm going to ask my stylists opinion on my hair color. I have one more box of my current color and then I'm done: I need a change. I may go more blonde. Who knows. But I need an expert's opinion...if she says to do some chestnut brown with highlights or something, I'm not opposed to that. Just need a change in the color.

So I'm really into a book I've been meaning to read for ages. Since things are kind of starting to slow down, I picked it up a day or two ago...The Jungle by Upton Sinclair. I'm really engrossed in it. I can't put it down and I'm really pissed I didn't spend this entire evening reading it. I love when I get into a book in that sort of manner.

I forgot to mention yesterday that I was sorta "yeah!" about Paycheck because Michael C. Hall from Six Feet Under was in it. Wooha!

I had more stuff to say but shit man, I've been playing with ringtones along with my brother on the computer...and The Jungle is waiting for me.
