[Entry 102]

don't waste your time on me...

Man, I just had a freakout moment. I'm being very lazy at the present. Slacking with e-mails...still need to do my Pearl Jam recaps from the last four or five shows from last tour...and I need to update my bio page. So I was looking at my bio page...and while most of the pictures (minus the first) have been taken within the past year...a fucking lot has changed.

I was looking at my hair in this picture. Less than a year ago...and that means when I cut my hair, it was longer than that. It's so fucking weird! My hair has been short maybe a month now? Who knows...I can't keep track of time anymore... but it seems like it's been short for forever. From time to time, I'll see someone with long hair (usually on tv) and I'm like...maybe I should've just kept it long and gotten some bangs. But shit, I like it short. Much quicker to style and much easier to maintain. I look at that picture of myself in Cleveland last year...and it just doesn't even seem like me.

I wonder if it's really because of the hair...or if I feel like I'm an entirely different person...

LOL ok...mid-day crisis, huh? More later...

The 12th has technically ended...but I wanted to finish this shite up...

Today ended up being totally crazy and stuff. I went with my mom to take my grandma home (she had a doctors appointment today). I unloaded 400 bags of cat food for her cat clan. Silly cats. Then my mom and I stopped off at TJ Maxx and Marshall's. We found nothing at Marshall's...

However, at TJ's, I found the exact Diane Von Furstenberg bag I was looking for. I actually found the TWO bags I was looking for...the 20 inch expandable upright and the Rolling City Bag. The upright was too small. I would've been able to fit two pairs of jeans in there. The only problem is...the Rolling City bag is blue. I really wanted the green (Green is like, my temporary favorite color, I can't get enough green...I now I have three favorite colors: orange, brown, and green. Does this make me boring? What boring colors, huh?). The bag is perfect, however, so I'll overlook the color thing. It's not like the blue is ugly...and perhaps in five years, I would like the blue over the green. I'm still gonna keep my eyes peeled. Also...while we were in TJ Maxx, my dad called to tell my mom a particular store had called asking me if I still was interested in working there. Let's get to the facts: it's not my "ideal" job...I'm already feeling bored and I've only been out of school for a week and some change...and unemployment runs out the second week of June.

So I went home...and was totally truthful with them. I told them I was totally interested in working for them...however, I am trying to get a job in wholesale...so I can't really commit for long term. They were totally alright with that. I'm going to be doing computer/internet stuff...not sales...which is even better than I could wish for...for this job. I hope it all works out. I get more details and stuff tomorrow afternoon.

Before my mom and I had taken Grandma home, my mom informed me Meijer's has 20% off all furniture. Yeah, I know, not great quality stuff...but I don't plan on investing in "quality" until I own a home. Anyway, months ago, I stumbled across the coolest two piece entertainment center. I said when I found it, "When this goes on sale, I am totally buying it." Well, even though I check the ads every Sunday, I missed the whole sale thing this week. So my mom and I went to Meijer's. They didn't have the TV stand part of the set. The guy called a million other Meijer's and finally located me one waaaaaaaaaaaaay far away from here. They were nice enough to hold it for me.

Dropped my mom off, then picked Rich up to go eat at Sheild's. Rich was getting sick of Shield's (it happens), so we haven't eaten there in awhile. Inga called us out on it. It was pretty funny. I heart Inga. Then made the trek out to this Meijer's. Got ice cream. Watched The Bachelor...and began assembling the small piece (the tv stand). So far, it's great. It makes my room look very large. And I've put together a lot of junk furniture...this seems like the best quality of all the junk furniture in the land. Even my mom was impressed. I manged to cut my palm and take a chunk out of my thumb...but they were fun injuries...meaning I didn't even notice them happening when they happened...but only noticed them much, much later. Now, hopefully, my little brother's best friend will take my old entertainment center off my hands.

Oh, and I have that DUMB Blink 182 song stuck in my head. I think I'd rather have that dumb song (I Miss You) stuck in my head than that new Jay-Z single, though. Man, that song drives me up the walls.
