and i can't ask for things to be still again...

Went to Detroit Brewing Co. with my family and Aaron's family today. I wasn't going to go, but at last minute remembered I still needed to get downtown to take pictures for three of my current projects. I am more than likely using the shots (or one or two, who knows) for my Detroit retail research project. I like the construction shots. What are they building? A new YMCA. Probably would never have heard about it but our tour guide on the Boston Edison tour this year worked for the YMCA and was telling us about the project.

I used my new deodorant today. I only use Secret Platinum Protection...but a couple of months ago I picked up a Secret Skin Renewal deodorant. I thought I dug it...the smell is kind of men's-cologne-y. Now it's getting on my nerves. But that may just be because I am under the weather.

Well...I burned two DVDs today and they turned out fine. Well at least they played on my DVD player. Just one step closer to getting rid of my PJ VHS tapes (who ever wants them can have them). I watched a little bit of the Buffalo DVD today...been awhile since I had watched it. Kind of crazy for a couple of reasons...mainly a big reminder that all those shows happened almost one year ago. It's amazing how time flies by. Seriously. I mean, cheesus, my little brother starts college this fall. COLLEGE! Ryan!?! I remember him sitting in his car seat as a baby and me looking at him going, "I wonder what he is going to look like when he gets older. I couldn't picture it. Surely, I did not picture he'd look like this.

I probably shouldn't talk about this...but a friend told me tonight that they were going out on a date this evening. I seriously got all happy upon hearing this news. I don't know why! I guess I'm just happy for this person. Hopefully everything went well so I can live vicariously through them if the giddyness occurs.

Yeah! Yeah! That's what I'm talking about...
I put up some of Ryan's Ecko clothes that he barely wore (you know, since he went through a recent style transition, but I have to say I like the new look, it fits him) on eBay. Last minute bidding wars are excellent...well they are when you're the seller:-)

cough, cough
Me and Ursher (yes, URsher) say "peace out!"
