I did absolutely nothing super productive today. Well, that's kind of a lie.
My little brother stayed home from school today to buy pre-sale Incubus tickets. Ah, it reminded me of the good ole days of ME skipping school
to get Pearl Jam tickets. I remember when my sister and I skipped school to go buy some East Lansing 98 tickets. That was fun. I tell you though,
nothing beats the fan club ticket thing like last tour...I loathe buying tickets online. Think back to the 2000 tour...when multiple dates went on
sale at the same time. I DO NOT know how I did it!
The whole thought also reminded me of when me and my old best friend, Sarah, were buying Smashing Pumpkins tickets back in 1996. We could not get
through to Ticketmaster to save our life...so Sarah goes, "Can you buy tickets online from Ticketmaster?" I did not think so, as I had browsed the
site before, but I logged onto AOL, went to Ticketmaster, only to find an info page...but you could not buy tickets online. Oh my how the world
has changed in 8 years.
I saw the making of the D12 My Band video. Some funny stuff. Very TRL.
I went and dropped my car off at the body shop to get the ding repaired.
I also went to the car dealer and got everything taken care of for my NEW CAR!!! I love
my car salesman...he is the nicest car salesman I have ever encountered. He assembled me the perfect car at the perfect price. My criteria
was a sunroof and a spoiler. My criteria used to include a cd player...but with most GM cars these days, a cd player is standard. Anyway,
so my car has a factory installed sunroof...I mentioned the remote starter...but it also has an in-dash six disc changer. I don't even need it!
BUT IT'S SO FUN! Weeee! I'm taking delivery on Thursday if my Alero is ready in time...otherwise I'll pick it up on Friday.
