you go to the dealership...

Been a busy past 48 hours.
It all began on Thursday afternoon. After spending the morning working on homework (shocking), I got in my car and went and picked up a Caesar's pizza by my mom's work. I have come to the conclusion they may be the best Little Caesar's ever. Mmm, mmm. So I ate my pizza. Then I sat in the dental chair to get my teeth Zoomed.

I do not recommend this procedure to anyone. I would rather get waxed 100 times than get my teeth Zoomed again. I really had no idea what to expect... I was just like...YEAH! Teeth! Zoom! White! Yeah!
My mouth was virtually open for two hours straight. You have to prepare the teeth and then wear this guard thing to keep your mouth open and keep your tongue away from your teeth. The gel gets applied to the teeth and then you have to sit with this light in front of your teeth for 20 minutes. 20 idle minutes. Unable to talk. Afraid to open your eyes because you may go blind from the light. Just sitting there. But it doesn't stop there. The gel is rinsed...and then re-applied and you sit again for 20 minutes under the light. Then the gel is rinsed again...and then re-applied and you sit again for another 20 minutes. Just when you think you're out of the woods...you have to get a flouride treatment for another 5 minutes. And then there's the pain.

I thought I was all good. I'm pretty tough when it comes to teeth stuff. But it all hit me hours later.
I was in my car, driving to the fashion show at Neiman Marcus when I got a shooting constant pain through one tooth. I got all hot and I was like...shit, shit, shit! Then it went away, and I was good. But it came back in various other teeth for the remainder of the night. But I will sidetrack with the fashion show...

The fashion show was really nice. A lot shorter than I thought it would be. It was based on spring trends...all clothing I can not afford. It was on the third floor of Neiman's which is fine apparel. I haven't ventured into Neiman's since the north side of the Somerset Collection was built...so it's been ages. And I never ventured past the first floor. Third floor is filled with Chanel and like...Yves Saint Laurent. Classy, expensive shit. This was all featured in the fashion show, too. I was just pissed that they only had sparkling water...shit is nasty. Couldn't wait to get home and eat!

Get home and realize that eating stuff without color is not easy. I wanted popcorn but we were out of the only popcorn I am down with (Newman's microwave popcorn). I made myself lemon pudding.

While I was gone, my car dealer called to say that they are now taking lease cars through December of this year. That means I can turn my car in NOW. I decided that my Friday would include a trip to the car dealer.

Woke up this morning, no shooting pains in my teeth. Just a dull, sensative pain. Get ready and go run some errands with my mom...including a stop at a body shop to see how much the ding in my door is going to cost me...a cool $150-180. I should show you a pic of the ding. It's ridiculous. The price is up there because they have to paint the door because the asshole who fucked up my door scraped off paint. Grrrr. Anyhow, then we head to a Chevy dealership to look at what a Malibu would cost me. Very happy with what they had to tell me (this GM incentive with nothing down for leases is great...it applies towards 36 month leases...not only 48 month). We head to Marshall's where I find two pairs of "designer" jeans on clearance for $20.00 but then I found three pairs of BCBG shoes in three different colors (black, pink, and blue) and decide I need them and put the jeans back. I ended up leaving with nothing because I decided that paying $39.99 for a pair of shoes is ridiculous (funny how I work, huh? I try to figure it out myself...but it's impossible!).

Then we went to another car dealer. Talk to another sales guy. He was the nicest and most down-to-earth of them all. But this car dealership is about 20 miles from my house. Kind of far. Went to another dealership on the way home. Guy there was pretty top notch, too. Think I'll end up going through that dealership. The toss up was color.

Rush home to go get Ryan and go eat Chinese food. I was excited because I really hadn't eaten anything all day and Chinese food features a lot of light colors...so I could eat! Weeee! After Chinese, we came home and my mom and I ran to another car dealer (yeah, we may be crazy). The car dealership closest to my house...definitely the worst. No straight answers. Four total Malibus in stock (I gave three color options and they had NONE). Yeah they can transfer the car, but I might as well go deal with the dealer that has the car, huh?

Then my mom and I went to CompUSA for their anniversary sale. I bought a DVD burner for $79.99 (but I will be returning it and getting a different one). My mom got a 160 GB HD and a dig cam for way cheap. It was fun.

Dolin and Bowman were supposed to be in town for Britney this weekend. Turns out Britney hurt her knee. Convenient huh...with slow ticket sales and all? Sort of made me think about Christina Aguilera and how she's going on her 2nd tour for her last album. She's toured with hot artists (Justin Timberlake and now Chingy--tee hee). And there's Britney who sucks and has Kelis opening for her. Wonder if Kelis performs Caught Out There. The first time I heard that "song" I thought...this is not cool...this is just plain STUPID.

So back to the car...got to make my decision this weekend. I'm sort of gung-ho on this because I'm afraid such a great deal (ie 0 down) will not be available at a later date. I really want the Pontiac G6, but that will not be out until later in the summer...and I'm hesitant about getting the first model year---even if I am leasing. I don't want to spend all my time at the car dealer for repairs (which I anticipate there being some problems with that huge four panel sunroof). I was originally set on black because when I got my Alero I said, "I will only get black cars from now on!" but then I saw their cool silver green metallic. Apparently, it is the "hot" color right now. The problem is, it comes only with a neutral interior and has the fake wood trim. My old Malibu had that...it was cheesy and I hated it. So I think I'm set on the medium gray metallic...which is a dark gray. Closer to black than silver.

Yeah...a lot of stuff...
Back to the family sedan??? :-)
