[Entry 30]
<<||>>

i'm questioning my education...

I got lazy or something yesterday. That is why there was no journal entry. I mean, it wasn't like I was 100% lazy yesterday...I ran to the post office and did a return. Midday, one of my profs called to cancel class for today in anticipation of bad weather. Awwwwll right! When it really began to get crappy out, I went to Somerset to go to Sephora. It was nice because no one was in Somerset because no one was dumb enough to go out in crappy weather to go shopping.

Today was just plain messy outside. It didn't get all icy...it was too warm...and so it was just a big slushy mess. I really hate winter.

Man...I just don't have anything to talk about. The most exciting stuff going on in my life is I am watching a lot of prime time television. THAT IS SAD! Next week...things should pick up. Monday I get my braces off. The following Friday I get to go to the eye doctor (ALL RIGHT!). I keep forgetting the fact that I own contact lenses. Kinda funny. Hope my prescription hasn't changed because I still have a lot of contact lenses left and I don't want to buy more because I don't anticipate wearing them until summer anyway. I need new eyes.

I read the article in Rolling Stone about the dude that wrote WinAmp and Gnutella a couple of days ago. It was like a trip down memory lane. Downloading Napster for the first time. Going onto Gnutella. Crazy stuff is when I was a kid...me and my sister looooove Nutella hazelnut spread. I used to eat it on Saltines like it was going out of style. My sister ate it on bread with peanut butter. Anyway...it was kind of funny to read a confirm that Gnutella was indeed named after Nutella. You have your suspicions...but always great to get confirmation on little things like that.

I'm afraid German may be melting my brain. I took a nap today and fell asleep thinking about how I was wrong about the narrative past form of sitzen. The fact that the narrative past form of sitzen is saß...is imbedded in my brain now. Stupid language. I would say "stupid me"...but it's much more fun to blame a language for being stupid than myself. Saß? Saß? Come on! What the hell! Stupid!
