Wednesday, January 7th, 2004[Entry 17]if we carry on this way...
It's been a crazy 24 hours. Last night a lot of people heard some news that no one ever wants to hear. Everyone felt dumbfounded...you could hear it in voices. Just unfathomable.
Today, was a good day, though. Rory woke me up at 5:45. The day before, ALL FOUR cats were on my bed at 5:45. It's awesome when they do that, you know! Turns out they got all in my shit this morning because my dad forgot to feed them before he went to work. Yeah, great! Then my mom woke me up a bit before 8 because I told her I would go to the car dealer with her...see, the wind caught the passenger door on the Envoy and knocked it off kilter...and when you opened the door, it sounded like it should not sound and the paint was scraping.
My mom had picked me up a cinammon roll and Coke...only when I got to my Coke...the straw was missing. Found it about 5 minutes later...when Rory was CHEWING on it. Cats!
So we went to the car dealership and just waited for them to adjust the door. Then we went to Target and had way too much fun there. They have mad clearances going on right now...like winter skull hats for girls for $1.04. $1.04?!? You can't beat that! After Target, we went to JoAnn Fabrics because my grandma has been whining for weeks about how she needs 100% polyester white thread to sew pillow cases (don't ask me). Well, finding 100% polyester sounds a lot easier than it actually is. We had to get a blend. Tough shit. Then we went to TJ Maxx because my mom has been searching for a pair of particular Born shoes that she spotted at one a week or so ago (my mom loves Born shoes like she loves cats, ok, maybe not that much). Then we went to MegaMarshall's so my mom could return some stuff. Then we went BACK to the SAME Target because my mom forgot to return something and I forgot to buy a poster frame for my Cincy poster. On the way home...Caesar's Hot N Ready...hellz yeah!
Chilled out for a couple of hours. First, I dragged out all my Pearl Jam posters. Rearranged my framed ones...decided I hate Ames Bros. with a passion. For two main reasons: 1) a lot of the posters of shows I have attended are really ugly and do not match my room and 2) they make the dumbest, unstandard sized posters ever. Then I got involved in some silly stuff for Rich's birthday (today is Rich's birthday for those of you who haven't caught that news, yet). I was laughing out loud way more than a person in front of a computer should be...so I went with my mom on another shopping excursion.
I stopped off at Border's to find a calendar. I found NOTHING. I was so pissed! I need a stupid cheesy calendar! I was going to get a boxer puppy calendar...but that is NOT cheesy. I always buy a cheesy calendar...I've had Backstreet Boys, Britney, Aaron Carter...what I think I really want is a Justin Timberlake calendar. I gotta find one cheap! Ok...so after Border's we went to TJ Maxx and I found like a $3 shirt. And then at Marshall's...I went a little apeshit. Oh well. It was fun. And now I am home.
Oh...I think I want to sell my Indio (11.05.93, duh) poster. If anyone is interested in purchasing #179 of 400, let me know. Make me an offer. I have too many Pearl Jam posters.
